Public Interest Led Development – a proactive approach to delivery

Public interest led development occurs when the public sector plays an important leadership role in driving forward major development to produce greater benefits for all.

We are holding a seminar to bring together public and private sectors to look at public interest led development, what it is, how it can be achieved and the roles that each sector play.

There will also be opportunity to participate in q & a sessions with speakers and case studies to find out first hand how they have used public interest led development to drive new and regenerated development across Scotland.

This seminar is to encourage discussion around the Land Lines discussion paper ‘ The Delivery of Public Interest Led Development in Scotland,’ written by Steven Tolson and Archie Rintoul.
